Weather: rain, rain and more rain and after that even more
rain, around 8°C
Band: Bob, Marc, Moses, Tom, Sven. And Sebastian as engineer.
Ingredients: Coffee, cigarettes.
Washing up: Seb
Marc played with himself for a while (!) until the others came
(sorry about that sentence you are not on a porno site!). Just
wanted to see if you are awake and if the other guys in the band
can translate into German. Acoustic guitar on "I DON'T BELIEVE
IT WILL" and "I WON'T LOVE YOU TO". Tom repaired his bass on the
"U2".
First song for the whole band was "JIMMY JIMMY JUMP" three takes
and it sat better that a mosquito bite under a latex dress, it
was that tight! Moses played the drums again because of leakage
from the three guitars (!!!) in the same room.
Back to the local Turkish snack bar for dinner and the Bayern
Munich and Arsenal soccer game. "ORCHARD" was the next song. We
played it yesterday but now we need a good recording. Two takes
and it was polished off. Now was the time to listen to all the
backing tracks, a humbling experience. Soon realized that "I WANT
EVERYTHING" wasn't of the same quality as the rest, so Tom and
Moses recorded it again, with Bob's guide vocals. Now it's a lot
more relaxed.
